Success for All with Quantum Ten (Q10) Integration

Class Length: 3 hours

Paraeducators are a vital part of students' days, as they are often among the first to encounter students as they arrive at school. As key members of the educational team, paraeducators provide support to students, helping them start their day and contributing to a positive learning environment. Their dedication and hard work make a significant impact on the success and well-being of students. This session will cover the importance of the intentional integration of the following Q10 practices: Culturally Responsive Practices, Restorative Practices, and Inclusive Practices. Participants will leave empowered with an understanding of the importance of:

  • Recognizing students' assets and strengths and validating students' background, cultural, and lived experiences (Culturally Responsive Practices)
  • Fostering a sense of community using the 5 Rs of Restorative Justice- Relationships, Respect, Responsibility, Repair, and Reintegration (Restorative Practices).
  • Inclusivity, valuing the diversity of students as individuals, and creating an environment that welcomes everyone and respects differences (Inclusive Practices).
