Creating a website account

On the login screen, click the Create your account now link. You simply need to enter your email (that matches the one we have on file for you) and create a password. You will also need to enter a one-time verification that is sent to your email address or texted to your cell phone.

CSEA has one email address on file for you. It is likely the same email address where you currently receive CSEA email. If you have multiple email accounts and the first one you enter does not match, you may need to try entering your other email address. If you still receive this message, you may need to update your email.

To complete the account set up, an email verification code will be sent to you to complete the account setup. The code will be emailed to you, or if you have a cell phone number on file, you can choose to have it texted to you. If you receive the code via email, be sure to check folders in your in box such as “Promotions,” “Spam,” etc. You can also click the link to have a new verification code sent to you. 

If your email address is a school district email, you may have trouble receiving the verification code via email. Some districts have very strict filtering systems in place that can sometimes block the verification email. In general, CSEA recommends that members use their personal email account and not their employer’s email for receiving union correspondence. Learn how to update your email.

You should be able to login. If you don’t know your password, just click on the forgot password link and follow the instructions.

Yes. You need to create a new account. However, if you created an account to access CSEA’s Document Library in 2021, that login should be valid here.

Updating your email

If your email address has changed or if it does not match the email address we have on file, please submit an email update request form. If nothing has changed, there is no need to update your email.

We make email updates as fast as we can, but it may take a day or two to verify your information and get your email updated on the website.

Login

Your email must match the email address we have on file for you. Be sure you typed it correctly. If your email has changed you can update it by submitting an email update request form.

There is a forgot password link on the login screen. Select this link to reset your password.

If you are using a different device or are resetting your password, you will need to enter a verification code. Otherwise, you will only be asked to do this when you initially set up your account.

No. If you are using your own personal computer or mobile device, you can check the “Keep me Signed In” box (under the password field). You should stay logged in on that device for 30 days before having to log in again. You can log out at any time by clicking the log out link at the top of the page.

Updating My Profile

Go to My CSEA and click on the “Update my Profile” tab. You can add a profile image and update other basic information on this page.

If you hold a CSEA leadership position, such as chapter office, members will be able to contact you via webform and any other preferences can be updated and customized.

Content and Resources

You can browse the menus or use the Search to find content. Please note there are three search tabs: webpages, documents and Leadership Mail bulletins. If you still can’t find what you are looking for, please submit a document request form.

Local information for chapters and retiree districts is available on those specific websites, which can be accessed from My CSEA. Contact information is updated daily on these sites from CSEA’s central database.
