Professional Writing and Email Etiquette

Class Length: 90 minutes

How do you ensure your email will be read? This program identifies the do’s and don'ts of email and offers suggestions for writing emails in a way that captures the attention of the recipient and gives them all pertinent information. This presentation includes information about subject lines, format, content, expressing emotion, grammar and punctuation, signatures and the use of CCs and BCCs.

For the past 10 years, Joselito Laudencia has served as the Founder and CEO of a spiritual life coaching business called Abundant Good Coaching and Training. Based in Los Angeles, he works privately with clients and leads workshops and classes for creating a practical, spiritual approach to career, financial and life freedom. Previously, he served as the Executive Director for Californians for Justice in Los Angeles and as the Executive Director for the Asian Pacific Environmental Network in Oakland, Calif. He created and led innovative labor-management partnerships with the Professional and Technical Engineers Local 21 in San Francisco. He also served as Deputy Assessor-Recorder for the City and County of San Francisco. He has served on numerous boards and commissions, including the United States Congressional Black Caucus’ National Environmental Policy Commission, the California Association of Human Relations Organizations, and the Pacific School of Religion’s Commission on Strategic Direction.
