Policy 512 is a new policy to codify awards processes for the Retiree Unit Granny Grant, approved at the Board of Directors April 17, 2021 meeting.

California SB 95 provides paid COVID leave similar to what was provided by the federal Emergency Paid Sick Leave law (which expired last December). Also, the federally enacted American Rescue Plan reassigns the financial burden of COBRA premiums from workers to employers from April 1 through September 30th.
