CSEA members vote in a variety of elections. This includes: local, state and national elections; CalPERS Board elections, CSEA Board elections, CSEA chapter elections and more.
General and Primary Elections
From local school board races to state and federal elections, we know that voting for pro-education, pro-labor candidates and issues can have a direct impact on our jobs, families and communities.
Most CSEA members are CalPERS members and can vote in elections for the CalPERS Board of Administration, which oversees your pension and has responsibilities to safeguard your pension system and its investments.
CSEA’s leadership is comprised of democratically elected volunteers who work regular classified jobs in our schools and community colleges. Retired members elect their own leaders to the Retiree Unit Executive Board. Forms and information for candidates seeking election to the CSEA Board of Directors or RUEB are available online.
