2023 Community College Classified Employee of the Year
Announcement of the 2023 Community College Classified Employee of the Year.
The Community College Classified Employee of the Year Award honors those who embody leadership, demonstrate the highest level of commitment to the Vision for Success, set an example of professional ethics and standards and are devoted to the mission of the California Community Colleges and their local community college district.
Classified employees with a minimum of five years of service as a permanent employee are nominated by their colleagues and endorsed by their local board of trustees. They are then selected by representatives from the Board of Governors, the Consultation Council and the Chancellor's Office.
The Community Colelge Classified Employee of the Year Awards are supported through a grant from the Foundation for California Community Colleges. Each recipient receives a $750 cash award and a commemorative plaque.
