Juneteenth Settlement Agreement

CSEA filed a class-action lawsuit about the paid Juneteenth holiday for classified employees. That lawsuit has been settled. The settlement provides eligible classified employees at covered school districts, community colleges, and other education employers with compensation if they worked on the Juneteenth holiday in 2021, 2022, and/or 2023. Copies of the court-approved settlement agreements are below.
