CSEA’s 28th Annual Paraeducator Conference will be held March 11-13, 2025, at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, Calif. 

The longest running and largest conference of its kind designed specifically for paraeducators, this is a unique opportunity for classified employees who work directly with students to receive learning, training, and networking not available anywhere else.  Please note this conference is open to CSEA members only.

Early Bird individual and group registration will open on December 2, 2024 at $169 per person.

Classes

Classes at the Paraeducator Conference are offered in 90-minute and 3-hour time blocks, depending on the subject matter. These classes are designed to give paraeducators training opportunities to enhance their skills on the job and their lives at home. Some of the many classes offered this year will include:

• Paraeducators as Inclusion Partners
• Yoga and Mindfulness for the Classroom
• Strategies for Paraeducators working in Secondary Settings
• Overcoming Burnout
• Money Management & Savings
• Neuro-affirming Strategies for students with ASD and ADHD
   

Hotels

CSEA has coordinated room blocks with multiple hotels, including the Doubletree Hotel and Azure Hotel and Suites, within walking distance of the Ontario Convention Center. A link to make reservations will be available beginning December 2 when registration opens. Reservations must be made through this link and NOT directly with the hotels. The room block will remain open until February 17, 2025, unless it sells out sooner. Additional hotels are coming soon.

• DoubleTree by Hilton Ontario: Standard Guestrooms $199 + tax  per night
• Delta by Marriott Ontario: Standard King $179 + tax & Queen Bed $189 + tax
• Holiday Inn Ontario : King Bed $159 +tax & Queen Bed $169 + tax
• Azure Hotel : King Bed $159+ tax & Two Queen Bed $163+ tax

Funding Sources

There are several funding sources available to help send your employees to this conference.

• Learning Recovery Block Grant
• The Discretionary Block Grant
• Educator Effectiveness Block Grant
• General Title I Fund
• Reimbursement Subsidy (for CSEA members)
  • Available to cover expenses up to $250.
  • Applications accepted starting January 2 through March 28.
  • Approved on a first come, first served basis as long as budget monies allocated last.
