For the health and safety of its membership during the coronavirus pandemic, the CSEA Board of Directors took action to approve the permissible use of temporary policy waivers allowing chapters and councils to conduct elections and allowing chapters to conduct ratifications using any electronic meeting and/or polling service so long as it provides a secret ballot, until June 30, 2022. During this time chapters and councils may also hold meetings electronically even absent a current constitution with authorizing provisions.
