Looking for financial support?
Here at CSEA Modesto 007, we assist all of our members by encouraging and guiding them to use the resources readily available on our website. If you, or another member you may know, are facing financial hardship, please complete the appropriate form below. If you have further questions, please email info@csea007.org.
Gertrude Gordin Emergency Assistance Program (Modesto 007 sponsored)
The Gert Gordin Emergency Assistance Program was established to provide financial assistance for eligible CSEA members who have financial emergencies that are beyond their control. Read more about eligibility from our C&B's here: C&B Article XXII

Dorothy Bjork Humanitarian Assistance Program (State CSEA sponsored)
When a member incurs significant financial hardship due to circumstances beyond their control, that member can apply for up to $500 of financial relief. If/when approved, payments will be made directly to appropriate vendors (utility company, landlord, mortgage lender, etc.) Read more about this program here: State CSEA Website Assistance Fund Programs
Humanitarian Assistance Application
Request for Sick Leave Donations (Modesto 007 sponsored)
Your Modesto 007 Negotiations Committee bargained with Modesto City Schools a "Sick Leave Bank" for our classified members. The intent of this sick leave bank is to allow classified employees to voluntarily donate up to 40 hours of their personal sick leave hours to another classified employee who is determined critically ill, suffering from an illness that may be terminal, or other critical injuries. The donations are available for those as stated above once they have exhausted all sick leave. Read more about the requirements in our latest contract under Article 15.11.7.
