A note about response time: Please remember that your entire steward team and Chapter leadership are all volunteers and have our own lives (and classified jobs) as well. We will do our very best to get back to you within 24 hours on a day school is in session. If you need immediate assistance, submitting a ticket is the fastest way to get help.

Your Request is Confidential
We DO NOT share your information/request with the District or anyone else, other than CSEA member leaders, stewards, and Field Office staff, including our Labor Relations Representative (LRR). This Help Desk is located outside the District and is not accessible by the District.
If we do have to share information outside of CSEA to help you with your request, we will always ask you first and have it documented in the ticket before doing so. You have the right to refuse to share information, although it may affect our ability to assist you.
Is Your Supervisor Calling You Into a Meeting Right Now? You Have the Right to Union Representation
If you feel you might be in trouble, and your supervisor is calling you into a meeting, you have the right to ask for union representation, even if the supervisor says it is not disciplinary. Stewards monitor the ticket system throughout the day. You may ask to have the meeting rescheduled until a union steward is available. However, if the supervisor refuses to reschedule, do not refuse to meet - you have the right to avoid answering any questions asked of you.

Our stewards who volunteer their time are your fellow classified coworkers, just like you. We need your help. We don't fight by ourselves for you, we advocate for you and fight with you.
